You can get involved in eliminating Ultra-Poverty



On Thursday, June 28,2018, immediately following the Rotary International Convention, the
Rotarian Action Group for Microfinance and Community Development, and key partners including
CARE, FINCA, World Vision, Grameen Bank, and Solar Ear are holding a summit to build a
movement to end Ultra-Poverty by 2030!

At the summit, you will learn who are the world's Ultra-Poor, what tools can be used to address the challenge of eliminating Ultra-Poverty by 2030 and how the tools to eliminate Ultra-Poverty link to The Rotary Foundation Areas of focus. You will hear from world-recognized leaders in the fight to end Ultra poverty, including Larry Reed of RESULTS and former director of the Microcredit Summit Campaign and Dr. John Hatch, the founder of FINCA, International and creator of the Village Banking Model of Microfinance. A panel session in the afternoon will let you know how you can engage your Rotary Club and District in the elimination of global Ultra-Poverty
