Community Development Director
Cassandra Bradley
My name is Cassandra Bradley and I live in Center Harbor, NH with my three children. I have been in involved with Rotary since the mid 90's and held a host of positions both within my clubs and for the Districts including Past President, Assistant Governor, District Governor and District Group Study Exchange selection committees, Amigos de Honduras - humanitarian trips to Honduras 10 years, District Conference planning committee and District Chair for Matching Grants and District Simplified Grants committee. My current position with Community Development Finance Authority enables me to put funding together to participate in both community and economic development projects throughout the state. I am also the project manager / commercial lender for three revolving loan funds, which are all funded with federal and state funding. Prior to this position, I was in banking for 20+ years as VP Commercial Loan Officer. I am finishing up my Masters Degree (June 13') in Community Economic Development with an emphasis in International at Southern New Hampshire University. This degree has helped me develop my understanding of the processes needed to initiate, develop and implement community development project in order for them to be successful, viable, and sustainable. This knowledge, coupled with my hands on knowledge from my job, provides me with the experience and understanding of what is involved and necessary in pulling together a successful project. This awareness will enable me to provide guidance needed to other Rotary clubs looking to do community development projects in their towns, cities, or abroad. Community development projects bring a community together to achieve a common goal or objective while helping to build a stronger more viable community for the future.
