Yves Fecteau
Yves Fecteau was born in Quebec City on January 14, 1947. He is married to Claire Veilleux since September 1971 and they have two children: Charles born in July 1972 and Annick in April 1974. They are very proud of their seven grandchildren. Yves is now retired from Place Laurier Shopping Center where he worked since 1984 as Operations manager. A member of the Club Rotary de Quebec from 1977 to 1978, he joined again in 1995. He is actively involved in most of the club activities. He was President in 2001-2002 and he was President of the Board of Directors of La Society Grand Village in St. Nicolas for almost ten years, a summer camp for handicapped people owned by Club Rotary de Quebec. He also served as Assistant Governor for the District, Governor in 2008-2009. Responsible for the center of peace and conflict for the district and district trainer In 2003, 2010and 2012 Club Rotary de Quebec recognized him with three Paul Harris followed by the Nanterre Rotary Club (France) in 2005. Claire and Yves love to travel, to visit and take care of their grandchildren. They spend most of their free time at their summer house in Charlevoix. Yves has always been involved in the community mostly with organizations helping the deaf persons, the Red Cross Society as well as leisure activities. He is very proud to follow his father's footsteps who was District Governor in 1981-1982.
