Wally Gardiner
Wally Gardiner is the now retired CEO of Gardiner Computer Consulting Inc, located in High River, Alberta, Canada. He was involved in technical education for many years before returning to University to finish his second degree, a BA in Spanish literature with a minor in Latin American Studies. He is active in the community where he is Past President of the Rotary Club of High River, former Vice-President of the Foothills Amateur Radio Society and Past Chair of the Rotary District 5360 Microcredit Task Force. He is the former Chair of International Service for Rotary High River and promotes Rotary projects between Canadian Rotarians and other countries. He also serves as Communications Director of RAGCED. He is a multiple Paul Harris holder and has done extensive work and travel in Latin America as a Cadre of Technical Advisors on behalf of the Rotary Foundation.

Mary Coward
Mary Coward has been a Rotarian in District 5020 for over five years. She has been active in World Community Service and attended four Uniendo America Project Fairs in Central America. Mary spearheaded four Matching Grant projects three of them for microcredit projects in Costa Rica and Guatemala. Mary also led a team that organized microcredit conferences in 2008 and 2011 in Victoria, British Columbia. RAGM had a strong presence at both conferences, which were successful in building a network of microcredit practitioners and supporters in the area. Mary is retired. Her professional life was primarily with provincial governments in Western Canada, in economic development and energy. Mary also has international training and consulting experience in oil and gas regulation and the environment. She has a B.A. in Geography from University of Toronto and an MBA from University of Alberta.

I am an author and agronomist who is passionate about fighting discrimination as well as hunger and malnutrition. I direct the African Chapter of the Rotarian Fellowship of Corporate Social Responsibility, and under this banner founded the social enterprise  Sevana, an anti discrimination project which uses art work  (including the book I authored) as an anti discrimination tool, and the proceeds of art work to to fight hunger and malnutrition with a focus on the victims of discrimination. Margaret has served as Executive Director/CEO of Pro-Literacy Detroit since March 2001.  Pro-Literacy Detroit, founded 34 years ago, provides free literacy tutorial services for adults, using trained volunteer tutors. Pro-Literacy Detroit has assisted over 11,000 adult students and trained more than 9000 volunteer tutors. In the city of Detroit, an estimated 90,000 adults lack a high school diploma or GED, which makes the work of Pro-Literacy Detroit and those of other Literacy Centers so critical to ensuring that everyone is prepared to take advantage of the new opportunities that exist in Metro Detroit.
